Student/GAP Year TRAVEL SAFETY Course (1 day)

Outline of the Course

The Student/GAP year Travel Safety Course is a one-day course designed for all types of traveller. Ideal for gap year students, university students, parents going on family holidays, experienced travellers.... anyone who travels!

We want to increase your confidence and skills in dealing with potentially difficult situations. We aim to get you 'world-wise' and ultimately better prepared for your trip and therefore reducing the risk to you while on your travels.

Our approach is laid-back and interactive and not regimented. After all, flexibility is a key attribute of a safe traveller. Courses are capped at 12 persons to ensure quality learning.

We put a great emphasis on ‘Situational Awareness’ as we want you to be able to understand your surroundings and read your environment, allowing you to spot the signs before a situation deteriorates or becomes uncomfortable.

The Course is run at various locations across the UK (see 'Dates and Locations' below). The day runs from 0900hrs to 1700hrs with a sandwich lunch included.

You will take part in briefings, discussions, role plays and practical lessons on the following:
